21 Learnings in 2021

As we rapidly approach the Christmas break and the end of 2021 i thought I’d share  21 things I’ve learnt or been reminded of over the past 12 months.

  1. You are way more capable than you think you are so be brave!
  2. Trust the fact that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be right now and things are unfolding just as they should.
  3. Creativity comes from a calmness of mind. Taking more time out will help spark new thoughts.
  4. Get comfortable with feeling uncomfortable. Nothing bad will happen.
  5. The first time you do something will never be the best one but you’ve got to start somewhere.
  6. Done is always better than perfect.
  7. People want to know about you, the person behind the business don’t be afraid to share.
  8. Plan the time to rest and get good at switching off.
  9. Comparisonitis is the thief of joy and destroys your creativity.
  10. Don’t measure your success by other people’s definition of it.
  11. Surround yourself with people who inspire you to be the best you can be.
  12. The boundaries you set are up to you to enforce.
  13. “No” is a full sentence.
  14. Planning is a necessary evil and a total gamechanger.
  15. You always think you have more time than you actually do (see point 14!)
  16. Audience growth is something you must focus on consistently.
  17. Take time to understand and listen so you can serve your clients at a deeper level.
  18. Just make the decision! Your intuition is usually right, it’s your ego that talks you out of it!
  19. When you’re a bit meh, change your physical state – being in the right energy for your business, clients, family and friends is everything!
  20. If it’s important you’ll find a way – identify the reason you’re doing it!
  21. Look at how far you’ve come! Celebrate your achievements and then celebrate a bit more!

Any of those resonated with you?

What would be on your 21 for 21 list?

Also, just before I head off to eat another mince pie there’s one little thing left to do though……..

I want to say thank you. Thank you for being in my world and for letting me into your inbox. I don’t take that privilege for granted.

I wish you and all your loved ones a very merry Christmas and here’s to a bloody amazing 2022!

See you on the other side. 🙂
